Safety when using jewelry is very important for both the people wearing it and those involved in its production and sale. Depending on the type of jewelry (e.g. rings, necklaces, bracelets) and the materials from which it is made (gold, silver, platinum, precious stones), there are several rules that are worth following.

- Avoid contact of jewelry with chemicals such as detergents, perfumes, cosmetics or chlorinated water (e.g. in swimming pools). These substances can weaken the structure of the metal and accelerate its tarnish.

- Jewellery should not be worn while playing contact sports, doing physical work or in conditions where it may be damaged, such as during intense physical activity or exposure to impact, to avoid accidental damage or scratches and dents.

- Remove jewellery before doing household activities such as cleaning, cooking or gardening to prevent mechanical damage.

- Gold in the 585 - 14-carat and 333 - 8-carat assay contains impurities of other metals that may cause an allergic reaction in people sensitive to nickel or other alloys. If you notice any skin irritation, stop wearing the jewelry and consult a doctor.

- Jewellery is not intended for children under 3 years of age due to the risk of choking or swallowing small parts.

- Children over the age of 3 may only wear jewelry under strict adult supervision. It is not recommended for children to wear jewelry while sleeping, playing, or in other activities that may lead to accidental damage or injury.

- Jewellery intended for children should be free of small, easily swallowable elements. If children wear jewellery, make sure it is age-appropriate and does not pose a hazard (e.g. no sharp edges).

- Due to small parts, jewellery may pose a risk to children (choking hazard or damage).

- Do not leave jewelry in places easily accessible to small children. Jewelry should only be worn by children in the presence of adults to prevent the risk of swallowing or other accidents.
