Each product made of precious metal that has been previously tested should receive a so-called hallmark. It is expressed in thousandths and specifies the type of precious metal and its fineness. There are exceptions in which a gold product is not subject to hallmarking - these are goods whose mass does not exceed one gram. It is worth remembering that each product made of precious metal must have an assigned fineness and mass.
